Campus Divas: Sex and Score

Many people always refer to universities as the institutions of higher learning, some as citadel of education and some as the zenith of learning but wait there is a point that they always miss out on.  Universities are dens of prostitution and immorality is out of the roof. It is far much worse than the most famed points like Sabina Joy and Koinange Street. Welcome to the life of a campus girl otherwise known as a campus diva.

Life of a campus diva is a complex one to say the least. A campus diva is an epitome of multitasking. She puts this cliche to its perfect use. She is a student during the day, but a completely different person at night. Twilight is her best mate.

Skimpy dresses, weird make-ups and sophisticated handbags are some of the accessories that a diva cannot be separated from. If you lack these basic items then you are not worth your salt in the diva hood world. These are like a pen and a book to a student, a hoe and a panga to a farmer and a stethoscope to a physician.

Many have fallen prey to these divas. A case in point is a certain freshman, a first year student who was duped by a third year diva. He thought he had conquered a fresher like him, little did he know that he was the one who was cornered by a third year diva. His perceived triumph turned into tears when he realized he had an empty bank account. His HELB loan had been siphoned by the lady and the student had to survive on soft loans.

This is just a tip of the iceberg into the world of campus divas. Some go out on streets while others devour from within. There are those who have a repertoire of students in the name of boyfriends. They play it cool to avoid being busted. Each boyfriend has a part to play and they are assigned names according to the part they fulfill in the relationship.

There is one called ATM. He is named after Automated Teller Machine and his role is to provide cash. He has no other prowess but to ensure constant supply of cash in the relationship. The other one is named warrior. He offers security and related matters. The next is called honey. He is the guy who relieves stress after a day of hustling for the diva. He is good in bedroom matters and performs his duties to precision.

Then the last one is named ‘choppy’. He deals with matters academic as the divas have no time to do assignments or continuous assessment tests. He ensures that she does not get a supplementary to avoid being sent home. Every one of them will get a taste of the forbidden fruit but just to blind them in her pursuit of fame and money. This can even extend to lecturers when a bright student cannot be fixed. This is what leads to sexually transmitted grades.

After perfecting their art in campus, they outgrow it and start opening branches. Some venture into escort business while others go into lucrative errands of dating who is who in the society. They milk these people dry in exchange of passionless pleasures. At the end of their four year course they graduate with double degree, one in academics and divaship. Some end up with pregnancy while others with disfigured faces.
